How to access EcoCommons?

EcoCommons Australia is free to use, and anyone affiliated with a research organisation that is part of the Australian Access Federation (AAF) can login to the platform.

If you are not affiliated with a research organisation that is part of the AAF, you will need to request a manually created account to access the platform. You can request an account through our login page. Select ‘Request an EcoCommons account’ and fill out the registration form.

What is the Australian Access Federation (AAF)?

The AAF is an access federation of most Australian educational and research organisations including all Australian universities, CSIRO and others.

If you are a student, researcher or staff member at one of AAF’s subscribers, choose the ‘Australian Access Federation’ sign in option to access EcoCommons.

You will be prompted to choose your organisation and sign in using your organisation’s sign in service, after which you will be transferred to EcoCommons.

Non AAF Members

If you are not associated with an AAF member organisation, you can request an account through our login page.

Select ‘Request an EcoCommons account’, fill out the registration form and a member of our team will be in touch.

Once you have your login details, select the ‘EcoCommons Account’ sign in option at the login page to access the platform.

Please make sure to include details about your research and how access to EcoCommons can help you to carry out your research work.
